This week we’re in Matthew’s flat, despite it often sounding like we’re coming to you from the central reservation of a motorway. You get Far Cry 4, Super Smash Bros for Wii U, flight simulators, a very fancy chandelier, Toni Braxton, our most inept Jam With The Band session yet, and the soothing drone of many cars and the odd bonus lorry. Plus: SPACE ARK.

Best episode yet, and it didn’t even have A Capella Tunes in it! Thanks for brightening up my morning. I thought this week’s “What you’ve been reading/watching” to be mind-blowing stuff.
On a related note, I’m kicking myself for not submitting an entry for the Space Ark once again this week. There goes ZombiU into the lava. And Guitaroo Man from the previous genre.

Gitaroo Man! That would have been a great pick. I’ve got The Legendary Theme on my phone and it makes me cry.

Great episode as usual guys. Rate My Uncle could be podcast gold! Does horizontal shooters exclude Metal Slug and Gunstar Heroes then?
December 7, 2014 — 6:02 pm
It does. No men, walking. That also means that Universal Soldier/Turrican game is excluded, too, sadly.

Don’t worry, chaps: I’ve arranged a slot in the Music Room on the Ark. It was down to me and Smooth McGroove, but McGroove clearly hasn’t had the knife-fighting training that comes with growing up in Camden. Sorry, hadn’t.
Great podcast once again, gents – the manic giggling about not particularly funny things only makes it better! I have to say, though: not enough Dolph Lundgren for my liking.

Ooh I just mentioned Dolph Lundgren above (tangentially) — how’s that for service?
